Role Summary:


Your Roles & Responsibilities :

Strategic / Customer centric

1. Design enhancement (Customer Joy)

  • Review and verification of designs proposed by the external architects at regions ensuring customer centric design and compliance to standard design principles
  • Interfaces with regional design teams and HO teams
  • Assess integration of relevant innovations to create differentiation based on the micro market pain points
  • Understanding of GPL regions, the customer requirement of the region and future trends
  • Customer friendly product compliant with GPL standards in scheduled time
  • Designs should include relevant innovations to create differentiation
  • Timely response

2. Strategic Projects

  • Identify inefficiencies in the prevailing processes and working at project level (including sites) and approach the resolution through strategic project
  • Assess cost benefit analysis of strategic project including the problems that it will solve to make a case to management for project funding
  • Assessment of relevant partners to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to complete the project
  • Continuous assessment of regional markets & competition to gauge what is required for GPL to stay ahead of the competition
  • Implementation of ongoing strategic projects such as Standardization in regions and projects to create consistency across all GPL regions
  • Accuracy
  • Comprehensiveness
  • Timeliness as defined basis organizational goals

3. Technological Integration

  • Identify inefficiencies in the prevailing processes and assess/ adopt resolution through integration of advanced technology
  • Assessment of new technology available in the market and how & if it can create value for GPL.
  • Adoption of relevant technologies to provide GPL the 1st mover advantage in the market and exponentially transform the business wrt time, cost, quality
  • Relevance to GPL
  • Depth of analysis and adoption plan for GPL business
  • Turnaround time in alignment with business targets

4. R&D

  • Design thinking approach
  • Continuous research of real estate and correlated industries, design concepts, materials, technologies etc to assess adoption within GPL to create value for business and customer
  • Relevance to GPL
  • Depth of analysis and adoption plan for GPL business
  • Turnaround time in alignment with business targets

Process

1. Process Adherence

  • Complies with company defined guidelines and processes
  • Adheres to project timelines
  • Process compliance

2. Process Improvement

  • Identify subject matter experts (external consultants) who will bring value to GPL and create a pool of empanelled consultants for onboarding on regional projects
  • Identifies processes/ procedures in own work area that need improvement
  • Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity
  • Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area
  • Initiatives taken
  • Impact of process improvement ideas

People Management and Development

1. Learning and Development

  • Identifies self-development needs
  • Takes concrete steps to pursue self-development/ upskilling on-job and through training, education, projects etc.
  • New skills acquired

Who are we looking for?


Education:

B. Arch/ M.Arch.


Experience:

8-14 years of relevant experience Critical Skills: Should have knowledge of generative design scripting on Dynamo/ Revit/ CATIA like platforms. Additional qualification in project management with relevant experience of 2-3 years specifically in project management in India, Dubai, overseas would be good to have.
