Engineer Mechanical Maintenance & Projects

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain all production equipment in running condition. Set up preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance procedures and frequencies. Drying oven, Assembled roving, Chopped strand mat and packing area equipment maintenance.
• Maintain equipments downtime and maintenance record and ensure equipment availability.
• Handled Chillers, HVAC, Com
• Execution of project jobs.
• Attend breakdowns in time, planning of spare parts, critical; spare parts.
• Plan and carry out modification jobs to improve the quality.
• Maintaining of all IMS records and compliance.
• Assist for all new equipment inputs and implement new projects.
• Keep equipment as per requirements of (Inspectorate of Factories and Boiler etc.) Complete required documents and keep ready for inspection.
• Control on budget by implementing cost and inventory management.
• Analyzing of breakdowns and execute corrective actions.
• Implement CAPEX and PIP plans.
• Assist to prepare the procurement and consumption plan for Mechanical section.
• Propose and implement improvements programs, particularly those related to equipment downtime decrease, reduction of his department costs, safety and environment respect
• Develop a team spirit, oriented toward continuous improvement, particularly those related to waste reduction, discipline following instructions and specifications, product quality, cost reduction. Promote communication and social dialog.
• Ensure that all his team has and knows his personal quantified objectives, and that periodical performance reviews
• Develop SWOT Analysis, FMEA, Kaizens & Poka yoke with records
• Work in partnership with other GGFL Functions
• Maintain all plant equipment in good running condition, by implementing predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Maintain 5S in all shops and equipment under his responsibility in good working, safe and clean conditions.
• Promote and get a safe environment in his department. Propose every year quantified safety objectives (Frequency and Gravity rate) together with an action plan. Meet those objectives during the year.
• Promotes and get a strict respect of Indian laws, GGFL rules and instructions and ISO instructions.
• Maintain History cards, Weekly, Monthly reports, PM & Breakdown reports, Predicitve maintenance records
• Design and develop new products, ex-certification and calibration equipments
• Inspection of welds
• Carrying out Calibration activities
• Designing & Supervising fabrication activities
• Vendor evaluation whenever required
• Plan and ensure to carry out the preventive, proactive and breakdown maintenance in time. Maintain equipments downtime and maintenance record and ensure equipments availability.
