Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in 3D modeling, thermal systems, and materials engineering to lead complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems, ensuring they meet high performance and quality standards. This role involves working collaboratively across teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

1. Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using industry-standard tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).

2. Develop innovative mechanical designs for thermal systems and other components, ensuring they meet project specifications.

3. Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and technical analysis to validate designs.

Thermal Systems Engineering:

1. Design and optimize thermal systems, including heat exchangers, cooling systems, and HVAC components.

2. Perform thermal simulations and analyses to ensure optimal system performance.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve thermal management issues in existing systems.

Materials Engineering:

1. Select appropriate materials based on project requirements, considering mechanical properties, durability, and cost.

2. Conduct material testing and evaluation to ensure compliance with specifications.

3. Research and recommend advanced materials to enhance product performance.

Project Management:

1. Lead engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.

3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Quality and Compliance:

1. Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

2. Conduct design reviews, failure mode analysis, and risk assessments to maintain product quality and reliability.

3. Prepare detailed documentation, including technical reports, BOMs, and user manuals.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Expertise in thermal systems design and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of materials engineering, including material properties and selection.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
