Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil and Architectural Engineer to lead, design, and oversee the implementation of complex structural and architectural projects. The role requires extensive knowledge in structural design, proficiency in CAD software, and expertise in construction management to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design:

1. Develop and review structural designs and calculations for buildings and infrastructure projects.

2. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

3. Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate structural designs with overall project requirements.

CAD and Technical Drawings:

1. Prepare and review detailed CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

2. Use advanced software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for design and drafting.

3. Ensure accuracy and consistency in all design outputs.

Construction Management:

1. Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

2. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to resolve any construction issues.

3. Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standards.

Project Leadership and Collaboration:

1. Lead project teams in planning, design, and execution phases.

2. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to understand project goals and expectations.

3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

1. Ensure all designs and projects meet regulatory and environmental compliance standards.

2. Conduct quality checks and audits during various phases of the project.

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

1. Prepare and review project cost estimates and budgets.

2. Monitor project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are implemented.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Expertise in structural design, including load calculations and material analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Strong understanding of construction management processes and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software tools like STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS is a plus.
