Overview:

We are looking for a Solution Architect with experience working in insurance domain to work within our team as we look to redesign our policy admin system. This has integration to the wider usage within the organisation and is classed as a critical service so will require insurance experience, specifically Lloyds of London systems, enterprise architecture and solution architecture. This role will involve understanding the current system and working with the team to understand our options for replacement and once agreed look to work on solution design.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the current system and work with the team to explore options for replacement
• Collaborate with the team to design solutions for the new policy admin system
• Leverage experience in the insurance domain, specifically with Lloyds of London systems, enterprise architecture, and solution architecture
• Ensure integration with the wider systems, as this is a critical service
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates on progress
• Document and communicate technical specifications and design decisions effectively

Requirements and Experience:

• 5 years of experience of being an architect
• 5 years Infrastructure architecture experience in Azure
• Insurance industry experience ideally in the Lloyds London Market
• We also have integrations to Google Cloud Platform for our AI capabilities experience in AI and GCP would be preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Must be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Certification:

• Google Cloud Architect (preferred) or Azure Cloud Architect(preferred)
