Job Description

- We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end performance testing processes and tools, particularly LoadRunner with True Client Protocol
- They should be proficient in identifying performance bottlenecks and providing actionable solutions, with experience in performance monitoring and analysis using tools like App Dynamics, Dynatrace, or Grafana
Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end performance testing for web and API-based applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and create performance testing artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Workload Models.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter (basic proficiency).
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize performance.
- Monitor and capture performance metrics using tools like Grafana, App Dynamics, or Dynatrace.
- Perform client-side performance analysis and ensure adherence to performance benchmarks.
- Provide insights and recommendations for application performance improvement.
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support functional testing activities, as needed.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in end-to-end performance testing.
- Proficiency in LoadRunner (primary tool) and basic knowledge of JMeter.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and artifacts (NFR Gathering, Workload Modelling, Test Strategy, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with web HTTP/HTML, True Client, Java Vuser, and API performance testing protocols.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools like Grafana, App Dynamics, or Dynatrace.
- Basic coding knowledge to develop scripts and automate performance tests.
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of APM tools and monitoring tools (App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD integration.
