Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture (5-6 yrs)

Role : Senior Java Developer

Location : Chennai

Experience : 5+ Years

Joining : Immediate (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.

- Design and implement microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Java code (Java 8+) following best coding practices.

- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

- Optimize database queries and design using MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB.

- Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for seamless project execution.

- Work in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills :

- Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA

- Microservices Architecture & API Development

- Database Management : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Cloud Platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP (Preferred)

- Version Control & CI/CD : Git, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes

- Testing Frameworks : JUnit, Mockito

- Messaging Queues : Kafka, RabbitMQ (Good to have)

- Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with React/Angular for full-stack development.

- Exposure to DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Terraform.

- Knowledge of performance tuning and security best practices.
