Job Profile Summary

Identify, resolve, and improve process integration and yield issues and related problems Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager

Perform project management and data analysis

Identify and resolve process integration issues and related problems Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs

Support new designs with module characterization and design rule development Work with cross function teams to reduce defect activities and resolve technical yield concerns

Develop and improve test structures that enable fast and rigorous characterization of process

Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals

Build and develop defect source library and tools defect source fingerprinting

Perform product/process partitioning study for yield defect characterization to drive defect improvements

Ensure that processes are well documented, failure modes are assessed and have mitigation and detection in place

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety Security requirements

Accountability
Plans, directs and is accountable for all activities and results of a single function (or multiple, smaller, related functions). Function(s) represent a segment of a division, country, strategic global account, major regional account or global corporate function.
Establishes organizational procedures and plans, consistent with corporate policy. Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to corporate policy.
Provides leadership, direction and strategy development and makes final administrative or operational decisions within level of authority or, as applicable, recommends course of action on matters affecting the organization managed.
Work is performed without appreciable direction and is reviewed from a quarterly or project basis.

Relationship Focus
Manages activities through at least two manager level employees and/or Sr. Individual Contributors. Responsible for developing and driving implementation of plans in support of strategic direction.
Ensures that overall budget and performance standards are realistically set and attained.
Recommends organization structure for area managed and develops performance standards for area managed.
Establishes standards and procedures for their areas managed.
Interacts regularly with executives and equivalent level managers across functions and regions concerning matters of significance to the company.
