Back End Developer

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Backend Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our development team. You will work on building scalable and efficient web applications and APIs, leveraging Node.js along with PostgreSQL or MongoDB for database management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Work with PostgreSQL or MongoDB to develop and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with the user interface.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Node.js for backend development.
• Proficiency in database design and management with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and related technologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with server-side templating engines (e.g., EJS, Handlebars).
• Understanding of security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization).
• Experience with Docker and containerization is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a bonus.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and application scalability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to GraphQL or similar query languages.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
