Technical

• Support of formulation group during the development phase to achieve successful formulation strategy
• Support of business development and formulation group in selection of quality API suppliers
• Developing new analytical tools in tandem with R&D requirements
• Generating stability data on R&D prototype formulations
• Ensuring analytical methods/reports are carried out according to ICH, JFDA guidelines to minimise the number of deficiency letters (DL)
• Creating a departmental workplan on a continuous basis to effectively manage department resources
• Set workplan priorities in order to meet departmental timelines and submission deadlines
• Creating a departmental training plan that ensures all employees are effectively trained on all SOPs, guidelines and updates
• Deciding on external training needs and evaluation of employee knowledge after attendance
• Ensuring all materials/equipment procured, are meeting requirements as per written URS
• Interviewing/hiring new recruits

QUALIFICATIONS

• MSc or PhD Degree in sciences (preferably chemistry) is required

EXPERIENCE

• 6-8 years in similar position
