Administrative Associate, Deal Desk

We carry over 1.7M industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions and government agencies as well as consumers.

Key Responsibilities
Handles stock to drop feature quotes that are assigned.
Handles all category tickets that are assigned
Analyzes current market (Global and industry) to determine the best technique for negotiation.
Develops and maintains vendor relationships in coordination with product management and purchasing.
Cross references 400 line items per month for competitive bids.
Answer product inquiries and provides the best solution for the customers application.
Recommend best price and price discount to quote.
Serve as an intermediary between the sales force and our suppliers and manufacturers.
Provide resolutions to product related questions for our sales staff.
Communicate with product managers and vendors to source special products and pricing quotes.
Be a technical expert on assigned product line(s) to provide accurate and rapid assistance.
Work as part of a collaborative team.
Attends training seminars to maintain a strong knowledge base on the products they support.
Analyzing and processing request for quotes from our sales force.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Manage multiple priorities and activities concurrently.
Excellent PC skills required in MS Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook. Pivot table experience preferred.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
