Procurement Executive

Job Purpose:

To manage the procurement of goods and services efficiently, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely delivery to support the organizations operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the organization’s requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and track procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting demand, and reducing unnecessary costs.
• Handle vendor queries, resolve disputes, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an advantage
