Job Description
- Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating background verification processes across K12 schools.
- Collaborate with school teams, HR departments, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of background checks for all new hires and existing staff, as required.
- Track and monitor the progress of background verifications and resolve any discrepancies or delays with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a centralized repository of all compliance-related documents for schools, ensuring easy access, version control, and proper security.
- Periodically audit the repository to confirm the availability and validity of required compliance documentation.
- Regularly update the compliance repository to include new policies, regulatory updates, and school-specific requirements.
- Work closely with school leadership teams, HR, and external vendors to streamline compliance processes.
- Provide schools with clear guidelines and timelines for submission of compliance documents and reports.
- Conduct periodic follow-ups to ensure schools adhere to compliance requirements and deadlines.
- Prepare and share regular compliance status reports with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify gaps or risks in compliance processes and recommend solutions to address them effectively.
- Support schools in understanding compliance requirements, especially around background checks and documentation.
- Organize training sessions or workshops for staff involved in compliance processes.
- Stay updated on local and national regulations affecting K12 schools and ensure their timely incorporation into the compliance framework.
- Notify relevant stakeholders about changes in compliance standards and assist in their implementation.
