Job Description:

We are looking for talented Medical Coders with expertise in one or more of the following coding specializations:

• Surgery Coding
• E/M Coding
• ED Coding
• Home Health Coding
• Radiology Coding
• Denials Coding
• Interventional Radiology Coding

As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, payer-specific requirements, and optimizing reimbursement. You will play an essential role in improving the accuracy of the billing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately code medical diagnoses and procedures across various specialties.
• Review and analyze medical records to assign the correct codes.
• Ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and payer requirements.
• Handle coding for surgical procedures, emergency department visits, radiology, and other medical specialties.
• Resolve coding discrepancies and denials effectively.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely claim submissions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate coding documentation.
• Stay updated on coding changes and best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-5 years of experience in medical coding in any of the listed specializations (Surgery, E/M, ED, Home Health, Radiology, Denials, Interventional Radiology).
• Certification: Must have CPC (Certified Professional Coder) and BCHHC (Billing and Coding Healthcare Certification) or equivalent certifications.
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, billing processes, and payer-specific requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
