Are you looking for an opportunity to deliver and perform payroll activities while continuously improving payroll procedures and processesIf so, this is the role for you.

As Finance Service Delivery and Procure to Pay Staff you will be responsible for performing payroll activities, ensuring all pay costs and related deductions are properly accounted for and that employees are paid in accordance with their contracts. You will also proactively seek resolutions on issues that arise from assigned processes.

• Ensure all payrolls are processed in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure appropriate tax regulations are applied
• Ensure payroll payment runs are made according to set schedules to ensure timely transfers to bank
• Ensure all pay rate changes are processed as necessary
• Process changes to tax rates and allowances as provided by the Revenue Department
• Liaise with Human Resources to ensure all employee details on the payroll system are correct and ensure the appropriate flow of information to the payroll team to enable the efficient processing of the payrolls
• Ensure that details input to the payroll system are checked for accuracy and that errors are corrected in a timely manner
• Review and approve payroll reports prior to releasing payroll for payment to ensure all errors are corrected
• Prepare all necessary payroll returns for review and approval by Payroll Manager
• Generate and provide input into required payroll reports and resolve all queries efficiently
• Resolve employee s payroll queries efficiently and effectively
• Liaise with the Revenue Department as required and resolve queries
• Support internal and external auditors
• Responsible for all filing and archiving of payroll information
• Process non-standard management reports as requested by Business Partners
• Track and report on relevant metrics and key performance indicators
• Perform payroll processes as assigned by Payroll Manager in line with standard work and agreed ways of working and processes to deliver outputs to site customers in line with agreed timelines
• Continuously improve payroll procedures and processes and ensure that they remain consistent with those of the organization
• Maintain and improve all payroll procedural documentation
• Ensure payrolls complies with all audit requirements
• Manage time appropriately to ensure assigned processes are performed and delivered in a timely manner

• Bachelor s degree

• CPA
• Ability to understand employee payroll taxes
• Knowledge of revenue rules
