CNC and VMC Operator cum Setter

Roles and Duties:
CNC and VMC Operation: Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) and vertical machining centre (VMC) machines efficiently and safely to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Setup and Programming: Set up machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, loading materials, and inputting program parameters. Proficiency in Fanuc control programming is essential for this role.
Manufacturing Drawing Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents to understand component specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
Tool Selection and Maintenance: Select appropriate cutting tools based on job requirements and ensure they are properly maintained to achieve optimal machining results.
Quality Control: Use measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges to inspect machined components and verify conformance to quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machining issues, including tool wear, machine malfunctions, and programming errors, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality through process optimization and skill development.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC and VMC operator cum setter.
Proficiency in Fanuc control programming and operation.
Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings.
Mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate measurements using verniers, micrometres, and other measuring instruments.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
