The Role:
We are seeking a E/E Hardware Project Manager who will support GKN ePowertrain AWD/eDrive Product development.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the HWE program team (or subteam) in all relevant ASPICE processes
Meet Timing, Cost, Quality and Performance targets
Plan program, set targets with stakeholders and track progress
Identify resource requirements and agree resource allocation with Team Leaders / Managers
Manage engineering risks and escalate as required to Programme Management
Ensure customer satisfaction (internal and external)
Coordinate prototype and testing
Ensure efficient information flow internally and externally and manage Stakeholders
Manage Suppliers and engineering partners
Plan and carry out reviews and sign-offs (GKN internal and with suppliers and customers).
Who you ll be:
To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in Automotive domain and hands on experience in managing E/E hardware projects.
Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required
Essential Skills
Engineering or Post Graduate Engineering degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
More than 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in Automotive Electronics
Hands on experience in Powertrain or Chassis domain
Should have managed E/E hardware development programs for minimum last 3 years
Basic knowledge of ASPICE
Ability to manage stakeholders from system and software teams
Basic knowledge of ISO 26262
Strong risk management skills
Experience in complex projects with multi-core implementation, ASIL D, complex process landscape, challenging project timing etc
Knowledge of configuration management
Should have good communication and presentation skills with sound financial acumen

EE-EPM is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more
business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and
SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes
management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time
project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving
project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization

Qualifications:
PMP/Prince 2 certified
Overall 7+ years of Industry experience
Bachelors or Master s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics as appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
3+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
