Job description Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the successful setup of a new factory and ensure the smooth operation of production lines, with a strong focus on quality control. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to set up equipment, improve production efficiency, and implement quality checks for manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:
Factory Setup: Collaborate in designing and planning the layout for the new factory, ensuring
optimal workflow and space utilization. Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems and
equipment. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely procurement and
installation of machinery and tools. Assist in the selection and installation of mechanical systems, including
HVAC, plumbing, and other factory-specific systems. Production Support: Monitor daily production activities to ensure machinery and equipment
operate efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise in the production
process. Work closely with the production team to optimize machinery settings, speed,
and throughput to meet production targets. Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and
implement changes accordingly. Quality Checking and Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product
consistency and compliance with industry standards. Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and finished products to
ensure adherence to specifications. Coordinate with the quality control team to identify root causes of defects and
propose corrective actions. Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment to ensure it meets safety and
quality standards. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate production equipment and machinery for potential upgrades and
automation to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance safety, production quality,
and efficiency in line with industry best practices. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
projects related to equipment, production processes, and quality control. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of mechanical equipment, production
performance, and quality metrics. Generate reports on factory setup progress, production issues, and quality
check results for management review.
Ensure compliance with company and industry standards by documenting processes and changes accurately Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with exposure
to factory setups, production processes, and quality control. Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other
engineering tools. Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, production processes, and
quality control. Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in manufacturing and equipment-
related issues. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-
functional teams.
Additional Requirements:
Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus. Familiarity with ISO and other quality management standards (e.g., ISO
9001).
Ability to work with a diverse team and manage multiple projects simultaneously Job Type: Full-time Pay: 25,000.00 - 35,000.00 per month Benefits:
