Automation Software Test Engineer

Giggso is looking for an Automation Software Test Engineer to join its team and work on the newest prototypes and solutions to redefine user experience. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying areas for improvement and performing automated and manual testing to ensure the quality and performance of applications, video conferencing solutions, and audio devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts for UI testing on Windows and macOS to ensure consistent software performance.
• Execute and triage the automated test suite per Release
• Create and maintain test documentation, including plans, cases, and reports to ensure traceability and communication.
• Test data flow to and from the cloud, identifying and troubleshooting potential issues.
• Execute tests to differentiate between hardware, firmware, host, and network issues and provide accurate reports.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with the development team on resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Must-Have

• Fluency in English.
• Experience in automation and scripting on PC and Mac platforms using tools like Python and Selenium.
• Experience with cloud-based testing and automation using Selenium and Restful APIs.
• Solid understanding of functional and design patterns.
• Ability to set up and configure test systems for audio/video applications.

Nice-to-Have

• UI automation experience for mobile devices (iOS and Android).
