Job Description
- Analyse technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements
- Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
- Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product
- Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets
- Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy
- Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement
- Able to analyse technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs
- Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage the supply chain to the customer
- This job role requires close coordination with our offices in Dubai and the United States and communication skills are an integral part
- BBA / MBA / Degree in logistics or supply chain management / BBM
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical fields, capable of understanding customer s technical requirements
- Preferred 2 years of relevant experience as Sales and Purchase coordinator
