GI is seeking an experienced Inside Sales and Procurement Manager to lead and oversee our global sales and procurement operations. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and directing the sales and procurement teams, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality equipment and products, as well as driving sales growth, for the company s global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction for sales and procurement activities, aligning them with the company s overall objectives
Lead and mentor the sales and procurement teams in executing effective strategies and achieving targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze technical specifications and customer requirements, ensuring accurate sales proposals
Develop and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers to optimize costs, lead times, and quality
Formulate comprehensive sales and procurement strategies, including identifying potential markets and customer segments
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and customers to drive mutually beneficial partnerships
Oversee the coordination of sales and procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of products and equipment
Manage and nurture the supplier and customer network, consistently evaluating performance and alignment with strategy
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
Required skills and attributes
Strong ability to analyze technical documents and customer requirements to guide sales and procurement decisions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a managerial level
Proficiency in office software, particularly Microsoft Excel or similar tools
Expertise in negotiating commercial terms and effectively managing end-to-end sales and procurement processes
Exceptional leadership and team management skills to lead a globally distributed team
Effective cross-cultural communication skills for seamless coordination between Dubai and the United States offices
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines, with a deep understanding of customer s technical needs
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managerial roles involving sales and procurement coordination in the engineering sector
