Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 2-4 years of experience in the FMCG industry to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchase of raw materials, handling the sale of various materials, and coordinating logistics related to the purchase and sale of materials, including rejected or expired stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing Raw Materials: Procure raw materials, perishable vegetables, and promotional goods as required for the business.
• Sale of Materials: Handle the sale of packing scrap, master cartons, HDPE bags, gunny bags, empty oil tins, and other disposable materials.
• Management of Wastage: Oversee the sale of sweeping wastage (raw material), return stock, and expired stock (finished goods).
• Logistics Coordination: Manage the logistics related to the purchase and sale of rejected material and expired stock. Ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with vendors for inward material logistics, ensuring the timely receipt and processing of materials.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all purchases, sales, logistics, and freight activities, both digitally in the system and manually in registers.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Ability to handle logistics and coordination effectively.
• Education: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any relevant field is preferred.
