Technical Business Analyst (7-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Position : Senior Officer / Deputy Manager - Business Analyst.

Vertical : Information Technology.

Experience : 7-8 years.

Location : Mumbai (Church Gate).

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Collaborate closely with business users and operations teams to understand and analyze functional requirements.

- Translate business needs into comprehensive functional requirements and create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

- Design and document IT system features based on business requirements.

- Identify automation opportunities by analyzing the scope of tasks/steps and gathering the required specifications.

- Prepare and review test cases, scenarios, and results to ensure all requirements are met.

- Conduct functional testing and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.

- Track, report, and resolve user application issues in a timely manner.

- Drive and communicate the status of project-related activities and deliverables.

- Simplify and communicate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.

- Maintain and update documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.

- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and ensure seamless collaboration within teams.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies :

- Prior experience as a Business Analyst in IT or Operations Executive in the Insurance Industry (non-banking/finance domain preferred).

- Exposure to the insurance industry is highly desirable.

- Basic knowledge of SQL/PL SQL, basic programming concepts, and web technologies.

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team with minimal supervision.

- Strong ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively.

- Proficient in documentation, presentation, and communication skills.

- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (BCA, MCA, B.Sc IT, Engineering - IT/Electronics & Telecom).

- MBA in IT is preferred but not mandatory.
