Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to identify and capture new business opportunities in the GIS sector.
• Establish and meet sales and revenue targets.
• Expand the company's GIS services into new markets or industries.
• Understand client needs and propose tailored GIS solutions.
• Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Lead the preparation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
• Promote the companys GIS products and services through presentations, demos, and marketing campaigns.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of GIS technology, software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), and applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand technical aspects of GIS and translate them into business value.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles.
• Familiarity with GIS-related industries, such as urban planning, transportation, environmental management, or utilities.
