The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Workforce Management Professional:

As a Workforce Management Professional, you will serve as a pivotal link between operational needs and business goals, ensuring that workforce strategies are both effective and adaptable. Your role will involve leveraging data-driven insights to forecast demand, optimize schedules, and address workforce challenges in real time. By combining strategic planning with advanced technology, you will contribute to driving efficiency, improving service levels, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the organization.

The Specifics

  • Strategic Workforce Planning
    • Develop and implement workforce plans that align with business objectives and growth strategies.
    • Forecast staffing needs based on historical data, business trends, and projected demand.
    • Use predictive models to plan for both short-term and long-term workforce requirements.
    Scheduling and Real-Time Adjustment
    • Create schedules that balance operational needs with cost-efficiency.
    • Monitor day-to-day workforce operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure service levels.
    • Identify opportunities for optimization in scheduling processes.
    Data Analysis and Insights
    • Analyze workforce metrics such as productivity, utilization, attrition, and absenteeism.
    • Generate actionable insights and create dashboards or reports to support leadership decisions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align workforce strategies with organizational priorities.
    Technology and Process Management
    • Leverage workforce management tools to enhance operations.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration and upgrades of WFM systems.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes.
    Stakeholder Collaboration and Compliance
    • Partner with HR, operations, and leadership to address workforce challenges and recruitment needs.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, promoting adherence across teams.
    • Drive the adoption of best practices to foster innovation and workforce satisfaction.

    What were looking for (you don t need to be a guru at all, we re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):


    • 5-7 years of relevant experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and analytics.
    • Role Focus: Analyze workforce metrics, leverage technology, and drive operational efficiency aligned with business objectives, with a particular focus on the utilities and energy sector.
    • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in workforce management, preferably in the utilities or energy sector.
    • Proficiency in workforce management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with predictive modeling and long-term workforce planning techniques.
