Architect

Job Description:

As an Architect you will collaborate closely with senior architects/Team Lead and project managers/Project Lead to develop design concepts and architectural plans, while also assisting in the preparation of schematic designs, construction documents, and presentation materials. Conducting thorough research on materials, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards will be essential, as well as coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors to facilitate project execution and resolve design issues. Your role will involve active participation in client meetings and presentations to effectively communicate design proposals and gather feedback, as well as assisting in site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of sustainable design strategies and green building practices, utilizing architectural software and tools to create 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and models. Maintaining accurate project documentation and staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design will be integral to your responsibilities.

Requirements:

*Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

*4-9 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project documentation.

*Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural software.

*Strong design sensibility and creativity, with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visuals.

*Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction techniques.

*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

*Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in work.

*Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet project deadlines.

*A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.

*Previous experience in sustainable design or LEED accreditation is a plus.
