Site Industrial Engineer

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework.

There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Role Summary Purpose

Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for Providing Manufacturing support - Design, Develop & provide Tools, Fixtures ,Equipment, Layout & Manufacturing Procedures for existing & New products . Devise & Implement Site Lean & Digital Initiatives

Essential Responsibilities

• Design & Develop Tooling, Fixtures, Equipments & Manufacturing procedures (Work Instructions & Standardized Work) for Existing products and New products ensuring sufficient capacity to meet customer demand , Product quality,Process efficiency & Operators Safety
• Design & Implement optimized layout according to product & Process requirements
• Conduct Time study using Clocking and MOST Techniques and define standard times for Manufacturing and Testing processes . Create & Update Routings in SAP
• Create and Maintain Process Flow and Conduct PFMEA and Implement Process Improvement actions
• Responsible for Site CAPEX & GENEX Management related to Tools, Fixtures and Equipments
• Conduct EHS risk assessments and Implement corrective Measures for Risk Mitigation
• Strong Involvement and Facilitate Lean AWO , 3P and Execute Lean Improvement projects and Kaizens
• Monitoring & Improving Asset Capacity Utilization and OEE of critical equipments
• Responsible for Conversion cost reduction Mainly Labour and Consumables cost reduction

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from accredited university or College

• Minimum 5 to 8 Years experience in Manufacturing Domain with Minimum 3 years experience in Manufacturing engineering & Industrial concepts (Manufacturing Assembly processes)

• Strong knowledge and experience in Design tools like AUTOCAD , PRO- E and Solid woks
• Strong Knowledge and experience in SAP on Creation and Updation of Routings and Work centers
• Conversant with MOST Time study Techniques
• Lean six sigma green belt certification is preferable
