Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain the highest standards of integrity and of quality for all manufacturing
procedures for rotating motors and alternators.
Identify P& E, define investment and expense needs, driving from preparing for
approvals till completion.
Ensure all engineering designs, specifications & technical data are complete&
accurately documented.
Translate engineering BoM into manufacturing BoM including item master creation,
defining routing in Oracle.
Establish & document manufacturing process through Manufacturing Process Plan.
Prepare PFD, PFMEA & execute risk reduction projects across Loco lines.
Interface with customers, vendors and other functions in an effective manner to
ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.
Work with Customer on process and product improvements.
Work on Process engineering of various components of Rotating Machines Lead all
Process Qualifications for Rotating Machines.
Work with CFT team for PFMEA, EHS & Quality Improvements.
Support on equipment layout plan, facility modification, and equipment installation
and inspection acceptance.
Establish and improvise the manufacturing processes, support & maintain standard
work development.
Drive cycle time reduction, cost out, Lean VSM & Kaizen events.
Participate in design reviews with Engg/TTA and take actions to improve the
manufacturability of the product.
Monitor & improve Product cost, productivity while ensuring all customer
commitments are met in a timely, quality & compliant manner

Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical Electrical from an accredited college or
university.
Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in manufacturing industry.
Experienced in Rotating machines manufacturing processes.
Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma knowledge & training.
Proficiency in Lean, Oracle applications & MS Office
Strong EHS Background
