Network Lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems and Citrix virtual environments.
Oversee and manage network infrastructure, focusing on Cisco Nexus, IOS, and ACI environments.
Implement and manage routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP) in multi-vendor L2/L3 networks.
Manage switching technologies such as VLAN, RSTP, Nexus vPC, port channels, HSRP, and VRRP.
Configure and maintain load balancers (e.g., A10).
Oversee AWS networking concepts like VPC, Direct Connect, transit gateways, and route tables.
Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
Continuously improve first-level operations procedures and conduct infrastructure monitoring.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the infrastructure stack.
Lead, mentor, and manage the teams day-to-day operations, including interviewing, setting goals, and training.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
8+ years of broad technical support experience.
5-6 years of hands-on experience in administering, and troubleshooting network/network devices.
Strong experience in network engineering, particularly in ACI environments, routing, and switching.
Experience with BGP, EIGRP, and managing complex L2/L3 networks.
Hands-on experience with switching technologies like VLAN, RSTP, Nexus vPC, and port-channels.
Familiarity with load balancers (A10 preferred).
Working knowledge of AWS networking concepts (VPC, Direct Connect, etc.).
Expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
Ability to lead, coach, and manage a technical team.
