Windows L2 Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred.
• Expertise in Windows 2008,2012,2016,2019,2022 System administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and related components.
• Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Administrator role for server & network (Switches, Firewall, Routers, Wireless equipment and server).
• L2 Support for troubleshooting of server hardware and Operating system.
• L2 Support for troubleshooting of network hardware.
• Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
• Ability to create scripts in PowerShell (Optional) and automate the process.
• Monitoring and Manage servers, Firewall, Network, internet link, Cloud serveries Azure, AWS and other, Backup Application, Patch management, user access management.
• Vender management
• Providing -L2 technical support to respective L1 engineers.
• Support Microsoft products - Dynamics 365, Teams, BizTalk, power BI, Project-2019, Visio Pro, Visual Studio, TFS, SQL etc.…
• Should be flexible to work in an operational environment, rotational shifts and on-call schedule

Able to do discussion/negotiation with vendors/contractors.

• Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills

Preferred candidate profile

1. Good communication skills used to support various technical issues and server operation queries, Should have worked on Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, Other standard softwares, to take initiative, Efficient problem solving and multi-tasking abilities, Additional Technical windows base certification will be preferable
