Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer to join the GEDU IT Engineering Team at GEDU Noida. The ideal candidate should have some experience in QA within a Software Product development organization and be familiar with Testing/QA processes for Web/Mobile/SaaS/Cloud products in an agile methodology. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will help maintain the quality standards for products, perform manual and automated testing, and ensure the reliability and performance of the products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Participate in product testing and identify issues, bugs, defects, and other problems.
• Communicate quality standards to the QA team and other channels.
• Help coordinate product testing processes.
• Participate in the automation of test cases for quality product delivery.
• Assist in identifying suitable metrics for product testing and periodically share/review these metrics with stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong understanding of product requirements/features.
• Support the team with innovative ideas and solutions for improving product quality.
• Use Quality/Testing tools to ensure better quality of deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent with relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Manual and Automation QA Engineer in an Agile Development Environment.
• Experience in manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, integration) and automation testing (Selenium/Appium/API).
• Experience with Selenium and Java.
• Familiarity with any framework like Cucumber/BDD or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing and using frameworks like Rest Assured.
• Ability to analyse requirements/PRD and create test cases.
• Proficient in sanity, functional, re-testing, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience in Web, mWeb, and mobile application testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries and exposure to MS SQL/MySQL DB.
• Familiarity with defect life cycle management and hands-on experience with Jira or similar ones.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as shell, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium and familiarity with tools like JMeter and LoadRunner is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Agile Boards, and NUnit is a plus.
