Urgent opening - SIEM Implementation - Chennai

• Experience with Implementing Security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) (Sentinel one) systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement and maintain security solutions.
• Evaluate and select security technologies, tools, and products to meet cybersecurity need and objectives.
• Remediate the security gaps observed in audit findings and help to improve the security
• Review reports from vulnerability and penetration tests to identify exposure and improve security
• posture in tandem with technical stakeholders from other departments.
• Work with SOC team for critical cybersecurity incidents, including conducting post-incident analysis and recommending improvements.
• Support root cause analysis (RCAs) on cybersecurity incidents, issues, and determines the proper course of action.
• Participate in and contribute to identification of cybersecurity tools and systems, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Provide platform support for cybersecurity technologies include but are not limited to: Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Incident Event Management (SIEM), Brand Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, User Behavior Analytics, File Integrity Monitoring, Firewall Analyzer, DDoS Mitigation, Secure Internet Access/Web Content Filters, Endpoint Detection & Response, Vulnerability Management, Security Hardening, SOAR-Orchestration, Cloud Security Platforms, and Secure Email Gateway.
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SOC processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a security Engineer role
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, incident response frameworks, and security technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
