Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, RERA (Real Estate Regulation and Development Act), SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance documentation.
Oversee corporate filings and submissions to regulatory bodies, including RERA authorities.
Board and Committee Management:
Organize and manage board meetings, committee meetings, and general meetings.
Draft agendas, notices, resolutions, and minutes of meetings.
Provide governance advice to the board of directors and senior management.
Legal and Regulatory Support:
Liaise with RERA authorities, local municipal bodies, and government regulators to ensure compliance with real estate laws.
Oversee the execution of legal documents related to real estate projects, joint ventures, and land acquisitions.
Monitor regulatory changes in the real estate sector and their implications.
Real Estate-Specific Compliance:
Ensure timely registration and updates of real estate projects under RERA.
Oversee customer agreements, project approvals, and other statutory documentation.
Manage compliance for joint development agreements, landowner agreements, and property registrations.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for shareholders, investors, and regulators.
Address stakeholder queries related to governance, compliance, and disclosures.
Strategic Initiatives and Support:
Provide legal and compliance support for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financing.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align governance practices with business objectives.
Participate in strategic planning for large-scale real estate projects.
