Age Criteria38 to 52 Years


Desired Candidate Profile:


The person should be responsible for the Company's sales- marketing related activities in assigned region including developing new business, growth strategies and opportunities in the market and maximize long term profitable volume growth.


Main Objective of the Job / KRA: -


Responsible for organizations sales-related activities including developing new business, growth strategies and opportunities in the market and maximize long term profitable volume growth.

  • To assist the board, determine value, mission, vision and short and long – term business goals and strategy:
  • Need to achieve Annual Sale Team Targets -month wise, Quarter wise
  • Partner with company in keeping with the vision outlined and approved for the company, by the board of Directors:
  • Develop the marketing, sales and commercial strategy divisions of the Company in line with the long-term business strategy:
  • To set up a back office for the Company’s marketing department
  • Provide strategic input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization specifically relating to the evaluation and execution of potential mergers, acquisitions or partnerships.


To conduct the above stated services to thereby achieve the said purpose, the employee shall be involved in the following activities –

  1. Business Strategy and Goal Driven Advisory:
  • Validation /Modification of existing mission and vision with compilation of Business Goals and work streams to achieve the said purpose
  • Partner with high – level officers to grow the company, strengthen it and ensure its long-term sustainability.
  • Work closely with the finance team to build credibility and provide accurate analysis of budgets, reports, trends and operational procedures in order to assist the Board of Directors.
  • Evaluate company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies.
  • Identify Risks and ensure appropriate strategies are in place across departments.
  • Analyze and make recommendation to the board of Directors an the impact of long range growth initiatives, planning and introduction of new strategies and regularly actions.
  • Crate, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company.
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Competitive Scenario & Growth Analysis to look at Market attractiveness in different markets/ segments.
  • Business expansion opportunities: Act as a strategic advisor and consultant offering expert advice on contracts, negotiations and business deals that Gartech may enter into.
  • Cascading of the Goals and Work streams across the organization as part of the AOP
  • Review of goals & work stream on a periodic basis.


Marketing & Sales Strategy – In this medium, the Employee would focus on the end-to-end process which shall include:

  • Defining the Addressable Market
  • Analyzing the Go to market Strategy including segmentation.
  • Defining & communicating the value proposition.
  • Validation of Sales Territories and Sales Organization
  • Forecasting Mechanism
  • Data Acquisition & sharing
  • Usage of sales Tools / Concepts to drive customer engagement.
  • Sales Performance and Compensation.


Evaluation od’s systems & processes to eliminate waste & ensuring appropriate Checks & balances are in place – From a systems perspective, the Employee would focus on:

  • Enquiry generation mechanism (Hunting / Prospecting)
  • Enquiry to Quotation process & turn- around time.
  • Quotation to Order conversion ration
  • Missed order analysis
  • Order Execution Process until Erection, commissioning & Handover.
  • Post execution capture of Customer feedback & analysis
  • Communication, checks & authorizations at different stages


Talent management & Organization Development - In this, the Employees primary focus would be the marketing & sales team of the company.

  • Knowledge of sales process
  • Setting up annual KPI’s for sales personnel
  • Initialize & implement the manual sales plans for individuals & regions and lead the sales force to achieve these targets while examining the trends and outcomes that emerge from these implementations.
  • Identify positive sales teams results and maintain these outcomes through motivation & incentive programs & identify & resolve ant negative outcomes by suggesting employee discipline, counsel & protocol changes.
  • Initiate marketing strategies that boost sales at global, national, regional & local level and analyze the efficacy of these strategies.
  • Understand the competitive landscape & market trends.
  • Identify gaps, maintain and develop sales & marketing team by successfully recruiting, orienting, managing & overseeing their training process,
  • Create and implement strategic sales & marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
  • Motivate sales team to comply with rules and regulations and meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Attempt other related tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the sales team as necessary.
  • Conduct quarterly review meetings with the sales staff to closely monitor progress and provide guidance as required.
  • To submit a review report at the end of each quarter to the Board of Directors.

Market Expansion Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategies for entering new markets and regions within the poultry engineering sector. Identify high-potential markets and regions, and tailor approaches to successfully penetrate these areas.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, ensuring the company’s offerings align with the requirements of new markets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and select appropriate distribution channels, partnerships, and alliances to expand the company’s presence in untapped markets.

Growth in Market Share and Product Adoption

  • Formulate and implement marketing and sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and driving product adoption across existing and new markets.
  • Work closely with the product development and sales teams to adapt products and services to local market conditions, ensuring relevance and competitive advantage.
  • Monitor market performance and sales metrics, regularly assessing the effectiveness of strategies and making necessary adjustments to maximize growth potential.
  • Lead the creation of targeted promotional campaigns to generate awareness, drive demand, and foster customer loyalty for company products.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners to encourage repeat business, expand customer base, and build long-term market positioning.


Person Specification:
Experience

  1. Experience in Business, Sales- Marketing, Engineering, Animal production or any other equivalent qualification.
  2. 15 to 30 Years in Sales of Engineering, Feed, Medicine, Poultry Equipment
  3. Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in the poultry or engineering sectors.
  4. Strong understanding of poultry industry trends and challenges.
  5. Experience in identifying new opportunities in sales of poultry equipment
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge

  1. Knowledge Of Working of poultry Equipment’s
  2. Knowledge of Local environment and its effects on poultry birds.
  3. Knowledge of rules and regulation relation to poultry.
  4. Knowledge of local animal husbandry officers.
  5. Knowledge of subsidy and schemes by central & state Govt.
