Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Location: Kochi ( no remote working option available)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BI Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BI solutions, creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT professionals to gather requirements and deliver insightful, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and maintain databases and data models to support BI solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across BI platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues and provide ongoing support to end-users.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in BI development and data analysis.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Proficient in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Work experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) will be an added advantage.
• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Relevant certifications in BI or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Certification).
