Job Description
- Ensure long term resource mobilization and financial health of the Projects / Investments
- Develop and maintain strong relations with banks and other financial institutions to ensure efficient working capital management and availability of funds
- Evaluate both debt and equity funding options and make recommendations based on both the cost of funds and associated exposure
- Evaluate the feasibility of new projects and proposed joint ventures in close coordination with the Partners and External Evaluators keeping in mind various funding aspects and recommend their suitability to the management
- Evaluate various finance restructuring option and optimizes cost of funds by analyzing prepayment options, where appropriate
- Keep track of global trends in the financial market
- Raise long and short term funds
- Manage the treasury function
- Oversee the preparation of necessary documents for submission to merchant bankers and other lenders
- Obtain credit ratings and ascertain the interests of vendors while evaluating funding options
- Brief senior management on issues likely to be raised by the investors
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions for issues relating to funding and obtains the most favorable terms for the Group
- Conduct a viability analysis on the investment decisions being considered by the Project / Investment

- C.A.
- 10+ years experience in funding from banks, financial institutions.
- Strong networks with banks.
- Excellent communication and closing skills.
- Strong understanding funding projects, negotiating best deals from banks.
