Engineering Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers.

This role requires someone who is not only skilled in leadership but also actively engaged in coding.

Responsibilities.

Lead and manage a talented Engineering Team of 8+ members..

Set clear goals and objectives (OKRs), monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations..

Build and maintain a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement..

Be obsessed with players and giving the best experience to our players..

Manage the development cycle, ensuring the timely delivery of features while maintaining high-quality standards..

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Design, UI/UX, Art, and QA, to deliver on planned features..

Conduct design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards..

Maintain a robust technical backlog focused on modernizing the tech stack, improving performance, and enhancing game stability..

Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, continuously adopting new technologies to improve game performance and player experience..

Act as a liaison between engineering and other teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution..

Build and maintain strong internal relationships, ensuring the team's efforts align with broader company goals..

Requirements.

Familiarity with cloud-based services, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines..

Foster strong communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments..

7+ years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in C++, Java, Go, or Python..

Experience in high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD), and building scalable systems..

Should have 1+ years of experience in managing teams, including hiring, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment..

Proven ability to lead and inspire teams through hands-on coding and technical guidance..

Startup experience is a plus, showing the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment..

Experience in gaming industry is a plus..

Good communication skills, and interpersonal skills with experience in building strong internal relationships..

Hands-on experience in Designing, Coding, debugging, and release management..

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies..
