Senior Technical Writer (10-15 yrs)

Job Responsibilities :

- Acquire and organize primary source material for transformation and synthesis into creating customer-facing documentation that meets a high standard for accuracy and readability.

- Create and deliver content and videos that align with product releases.

- Write technically accurate, concise, and easy-to-understand content.

- Work with technical writing staff to ensure coverage of several kinds of product releases.

- Continually seek to improve existing processes and content.

- Achieve a high degree of product knowledge to produce quality documentation.

- Follow corporate style guides to ensure deliverables' consistent look and feel.

- Ability to manage situations with tight deadlines and deliver as per expectations.

- Work with SMEs to understand the modules and develop the content with a quick turnaround time.

- Manage multiple projects and meet documentation deliverable deadlines.

- Seamlessly work independently or as a part of the team.

- Spearhead documentation efforts by coming up with innovative ideas.

Good to have :

- Knowledge of DITA/Structured XML.

- Good understanding of the SDLC process.

- Basic understanding of Jira.

- Good understanding of MSTP.

- Knowledge of Video tools such as Camtasia or Captivate.
