Role Overview:

We are looking for a Research & Development Manager with in-depth experience in research methodologies and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the R&D team in the development of innovative products, technologies, and solutions to deliver 100% customer satisfaction and achieve the companys business goals

2. Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the companys goals and market needs.

3. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of R&D projects.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and sales, to bring new products to market.

5. Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to reach project objectives including but not limited to Marketing, Operations, Finance, SCM, and QA.

6. Oversee the evaluation of new technologies and their potential application within the company.

7. Prepare and present reports on R&D activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.

8. Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to explore new ideas and approaches.

9. Lead new product development projects from concept to full launch which includes but is not limited to developing product recipes, selecting equipment, and developing operational procedures and manuals.

10. Alignment with the companys short and long-term sales and profit growth objectives. Innovative attitude, trying to do something new or finding a unique way to do things

11. Monitor and follow up performance of new products launched both sales and quality, anticipate and analyse causes affecting performance, and provide recommendations to Management and Operations to improve its performance

12. Application of domain knowledge (formulation/technology transfer/ innovation) to convert ideas into final product as per the intended design Creative development resulting in the launch of new products in both current and new categories.

13. Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment. Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process and finished products.

14. Demonstrates ability to understand and lead application of consumer research and experimental design (taste test verification)

15. Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Must have a thorough understanding of Research Methodologies.

2. Extensive knowledge of BRCGS, FSSAI, and other international compliance standards.

3. Strong understanding of HACCP, CAPA, and audit Standards.

4. Strong communication skills, as well as logical and analytical skills to handle international customer queries.
