Roles And Responsibility-MOULD SETTER & PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Report prior 20 mins before shift starts and shopfloor observation should be carried out and discussed with production head
Ensure 5S in the shopfloor and machine area
Get the tool loading plan from the shift incharge and execute as per the production plan
Check mould conditions before loading the moulds (nipples, clamps, clamp plate, valve, hoses and consumables)
Execute purging standard and record the lumps and need actions to reduce the lumps purging
Machine should not be idled for waiting for mould change, waiting for crane or waiting for preheating.
Ensure Mould and RM preheating before startup
Follow check sheets for filter cleaning
Start the production after getting the First part approval from quality line inspector
SOP should be followed for mould loading and unloading, purging std, operator work instructions and other standards.
Ensure Robot should be used for auto running the machines
Leakages - water, oil, materials should be eliminated
Maintain consumables - cotton, tissue paper in closed container, and tools under lock
Learn polishing method to avoid machine stoppage due to scratch or smoke marks
PMS should be updated on all machines (Process Monitoring Sheets)
Follow shift incharge instructions and learn from process engineers and report to production head
Cycle time and parts weight monitoring should be carried out as per the standards.
