Shopify Custom App Developer & Build Tailored Solutions from Scratch

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Custom App Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in developing and implementing custom Shopify apps from scratch, tailored to address specific business requirements that are not met by existing Shopify apps. This role involves advanced development tasks, seamless integration of Shopifys ecosystem with other platforms, and ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps using Liquid, React.js, and backend technologies.
• Build apps from scratch based on unique business requirements, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with Shopify's ecosystem.
• Work with databases such as MySQL and MariaDB to handle data efficiently.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend app functionalities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and ensure smooth functionality of custom apps across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Optimize apps for performance, security, and scalability.
• Stay updated with Shopify’s development updates, app ecosystem, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing custom Shopify apps from scratch.
• Strong expertise in Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python, or other relevant technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of React.js for front-end development.
• Solid experience with databases like MySQL and MariaDB.
• In-depth understanding of Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API) and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Shopify themes and front-end customization.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
