Technical Lead

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead / Technical Manager with expertise in software development and team leadership. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical skills with strong management abilities to lead teams in delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions.

This role requires a focus on technical leadership, project management, and client collaboration while maintaining hands-on involvement in key technical components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end development of data and computing platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and quality.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership by designing system architecture, performing code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Drive technical problem-solving and oversee the resolution of complex engineering challenges.
• Take ownership of project timelines, resource allocation, and quality benchmarks, ensuring timely delivery without compromise.
• Ensure smooth collaboration between cross-functional teams, including front-end, backend, and platform development.
• Maintain regular communication with Japanese clients, ensuring quality deliverables that align with expectations.

Required Skills:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong programming experience in Python, Shell Scripting, and C++.
• Expertise in software architecture, system design, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Linux OS internals (Debian preferred) and networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, messaging frameworks like ZMQ, MQTT).
• Management Skills:
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, monitoring, and risk management.
• Experience in cross-team collaboration and stakeholder communication.
• Problem-Solving:
• Ability to drive innovative solutions for technical and operational challenges.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks in project execution.
