Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)
Strong candidate to fill the Secrets Management Engineer position in the Secure Infrastructure Platform tribe at BCG.
Candidate will be working in a Security Engineering, Architecture, and Automation capacity across BCGs global network to support the implementation of secrets management solutions primarily using HashiCorp Vault. Areas of focus will include serving as technical advisor helping teams adopt, troubleshooting technical issues and preparing documentation and training materials.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3+ years of secrets management experience with globally distributed large scale implementations
Cloud security best practices to support a globally distributed environment across multiple platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
Experience working within an Agile methodology
BA degree in computer or information sciences or similar field preferred
Roles & Responsibilities :
Help drive adoption of secrets management best practices primarily using HashiCorp Vault
Create and maintain overall architecture
Provide training documentation and organize workshops
Compile secret management metrics using company KPIs and standards
Work in an Agile methodology and Scrum framework
Prepare and review monthly status reports and statistics
Deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Engineering and deploying of Zero Trust remote access solutions and other 3rd Party connectivity solutions
Using tools like GitHub, (or similar tools including Chef or Puppet), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Automating solutions using one or more languages (i.e., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, or similar).
Managing containerization and container orchestration technologies using Docker and Kubernetes.
Successfully interfacing and connecting with skilled technologists and non-technical stakeholders
Working in an Agile environment leveraging strong work management, organizational and planning skills
Negotiating and building consensus between stakeholders where competing priorities exist, providing well-honed influencing skills
