This may involve manual testing as well as the use of automated testing tools.

You monitor test progress, track defects, and provide feedback to the development team.

Test Management: You oversee the entire testing process, including test environment setup, test data management, and test execution scheduling.

You ensure that testing activities are properly organized and prioritized to meet project timelines.

Defect Management: You lead the defect tracking and management process.

This includes identifying, documenting, and tracking defects found during testing.

You work closely with developers to analyze and resolve issues, ensuring that all identified defects are appropriately addressed.

Team Leadership: As a QA Lead, you provide guidance and support to the QA team members.

You assign tasks, monitor their progress, and offer mentorship and training as needed.
