Fulcrum Digital - IT Infrastructure Manager - Azure Cloud (12-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Architecture and Design :

- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.

- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices for cloud infrastructure.

- Evaluate and select appropriate Azure services and technologies to meet business requirements.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance.

- Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance to the team.

- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Infrastructure Implementation and Management :

- Hands-on implementation and management of Azure core services, including compute (Virtual Machines, Scale Sets, Azure Kubernetes Service), storage (Blob Storage, Azure Files, Azure Queues), networking (Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers), security (Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center), and identity.

- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Configure and manage server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and related services.

- Implement and manage database solutions on Azure (Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.

Automation and DevOps :

- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management tasks.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.

- Promote and implement DevOps best practices within the team.

- Utilize scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement and maintain security best practices and controls for cloud infrastructure.

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g, ISO 27001, SOC 2).

- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

- Implement and manage security tools and services (e.g, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, security information and event management (SIEM) systems).

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving :

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.

- Lead incident response efforts and minimize service disruptions.

- Develop and implement preventative measures to avoid recurring issues.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Azure core services and related technologies.

- Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the cloud.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are required.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, GCP).

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with serverless computing (e.g, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
