Heavy Vehicle Driver

Role Overview:

FuelBuddy is seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Vehicle Driver, preferably an ex-Defence professional, to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transport of fuel to designated locations while adhering to company policies, traffic regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy vehicles to deliver fuel to clients in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and fuel receipts.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams for route updates and delivery confirmations.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid heavy vehicle driving license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Driver; ex-Defence drivers are strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
