Job Description
- Coordinate and assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new SAP software programs and applications as part of the global SAP S/4 HANA roll out project.
- Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of SAP projects.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of SAP software requirements and specifications.
- Conduct research on emerging SAP application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform SAP software improvements and upgrades.
- Consistently write, translate, and code SAP software programs and applications according to specifications.
- Run and monitor SAP software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
- Conducting thorough code reviews to identify and fix bugs and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Support implementation of automated testing procedures to validate the functionality and performance of the software.
- Collaborating with QA teams to develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Providing regular status reports on the quality of the software to management and stakeholders.
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
- Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
- Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of company SAP Web site and/or related SAP Web applications as necessary.
- SAPUI5 developer for frontend and backend (OData Services / CDS-Views) environments.
- Liaise with Globa Process Owner, Global ERP Leads, network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with SAP software products or company SAP software systems.
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior SAP developers and external AMS companies
