Program Manager / Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities The Program Manager / Project manager has to be the interface between a set of customers and our company, and has to handle

1) all new product inquiries,

2) arrange for the technical documents and Bill of material, from the customer,

3) Send them a quotation, ensure the price finalisation, ensure that the Purchase Order is received at the right price and terms ,

4) ensure the procurement of all components and production and the test equipment and

5) ensure that adequately trained manpower is available

6) ensure the timely supplies to the customer, every month.

Generally a set of customers is allocated to the Program Manager , from one segment of industry like Automotive electronics or Industrial electronics or Telecom.

The role needs the Program / Project Manager to correspond , to visit , to understand the customer and their products and their order and their technical and commercial requirements.

He / She is responsible for the NDA agreement, the receipt of all technical data, for RFQ bid, for finalization of the Purchase Order and receipt of technically correct order.

The Program / Project Manager also has to setup the entire manufacturing eco system internally in coordination with all internal departments.

This includes discussing the requirement of the technical manpower and the production planning, manpower allotment, achieving SMT production and Manual assembly targets.

Huge responsibility of Customer interaction .

Desired Candidate Profile Only candidates with 10-15 years of experience in auto component industry or in ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING SERVICES, or from any product assembly industry can be considered.

Experience in both SMT and product box build is an added advantage.

Preference will be given to Electronics Engineering Diploma and Graduate Engineers OR M.Sc Electronics.

Fluency in English needed.

Candidates from Competing EMS companies will be given priority.
