Job Description Designer & Social Media Executive (Supermarket Industry)

Position: Designer & Social Media Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Designer & Social Media Executive to manage our supermarkets branding, design promotional materials, and handle our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in graphic design, content creation, and social media marketing, ensuring that our brand stands out in the competitive retail market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Graphic Design & Branding

• Design advertisements, flyers, banners, in-store posters, price tags, and promotional materials for the supermarket.
• Create branding materials for seasonal sales, festive promotions, and new product launches.
• Develop engaging digital assets for website banners, mobile apps, and other online platforms.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual and marketing materials.
• Edit and enhance product images for e-commerce or social media use.

2. Social Media Management

• Plan, create, and schedule daily/weekly social media posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Develop engaging content such as short videos, reels, GIFs, and carousel posts.
• Monitor social media trends and align strategies to enhance engagement.
• Respond to customer queries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with the store team to highlight in-store offers, discounts, and new arrivals.

3. Content Creation & Digital Marketing

• Write compelling captions, ad copy, and product descriptions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute social media campaigns.
• Create email marketing templates and promotional newsletters.
• Work on Google My Business updates, ensuring store locations, hours, and offers are up-to-date.

4. Analytics & Performance Monitoring

• Track social media performance using insights and analytics tools.
• Prepare monthly reports on engagement, growth, and ad performance.
• Recommend strategies to increase reach and customer interaction.

5. Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the store managers, marketing team, and vendors to gather promotions and content ideas.
• Coordinate with printers and external agencies for offline marketing materials.
• Maintain an organized database of design assets, templates, and past campaign creatives.
