Senior executive - Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers.
• Maintain vendor records, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Support audits by providing necessary AP documentation.

Inventory Management & Procurement:

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure stock availability.
• Reconcile inventory records with purchase orders, invoices, and warehouse reports.
• Identify discrepancies in inventory counts and investigate variances.
• Maintain accurate inventory data in the system and generate reports as needed.
• Work closely with suppliers to track orders, deliveries, and stock replenishment.
• Analyze and compare quotations based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs), ensuring alignment with inventory needs and budget constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or semi qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred) with 2 years of experience.
• Good knowledge in accounting, procurement, and inventory management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quotations and supplier performance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage financial and inventory records.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments.
